It is important that we give people a greater understanding of the vital part honeybees play in the environment. The policy is intended to inform members to enable the necessary protection of children and vulnerable adults from all types of abuse, whether perpetrated face-to-face or online. The Committee of the Association will monitor the implementation and effectiveness of this policy annually at its meeting prior to the AGM, and take action as necessary. It must be kept securely by a responsible adult, used only for the purpose required, and retained only as long as necessary.

Protecting adults from abuse
All children and adults at risk of abuse or neglect have the right to live their lives to the fullest potential, to be protected, to have the opportunity to participate and enjoy any activity and to be treated with dignity and respect. We have both a moral and legal obligation to ensure a duty of care for all children and adults across our services at the Council and are committed to ensuring that those using the services organised and provided by us are protected and kept safe from harm. The purpose of this Policy and association procedures is to help protect all children and adults, including those living our communities, placed in our care within our services and to protect Stafford Borough Council, our staff, elected members and volunteers. Many frail or confused older people are especially vulnerable. Flooding advice.
Abuse is behaviour that can lead to harm or distress; for example hitting, pushing, bullying, stealing, neglect, or sexual activity without consent. It can happen to men, women and children, and in many different places. It can be carried out by many different people, but it's often someone known and trusted. The welfare of children, young people and adults at risk of abuse and neglect is the primary concern. All children, young people and adults at risk of abuse and neglect have the right to protection from abuse or exploitation.
